5:53 a.m. - 33degrees - 2/22/26 It is good to be back on my old rocking chair on my redwood porch in the middle of the forest.
I say my prayers and thank God for all the answered prayers of mine and of my clients. It is a blessing in itself to watch him work in their lives as well.
A client said to me she likes what I write about God rather than some of what she hears in her church. What I write is true, but make no mistake, God is an all-powerful, loving being. He can't be anything other than what he is. He is all-loving, pure, and holy. And because of his holiness, he cannot tolerate sin, which is why repentance is necessary and why he sent his son to show us how to live in a way that will bring us closer to him.
6:09 The birds have begun their morning song. It is the bluejay who is first to announce a new day in an array of magnificent songs; now the rest of the forest has joined in to form an exquisite orchestra. I am in the middle of a spiritual concert.
The ceder fir stands tall in front of me. Many tiny birds fly in and out of her branches as she stands quiet waiting for the storm.
6:24 The darkness begins to lift, revealing the storm clouds waiting to move in.
I put feed on the driveway and sit back to watch. The black squirrel is the first to snatch a peanut and scamper up a very large tree with the peanut puffing out his tiny cheeks.
6:30 The early morning sun trickles through the forest, dressing her in a heavenly glow. I hope all of you have a chance to be still and experience the glow of God's love today.
Until next time with Breakfast with God.
