4:36 a.m. -35degrees -3/20/26. A haze lies over the forest, and the shadows of trees can be seen peering through as I sit in my old rocker on my small redwood porch, beneath the overhang, with my heater underneath. The forest is still as if waiting for something to happen. I say my prayers and talk with God, thanking him for all he has done for me, my family, and my clients.

The first bird of the morning gives her call, and the rest fall into the music of the forest. The 5:02 train thunders through the fog as it begins to lift, giving way to the glorious Waning Gibbous moon. I drink my coffee and allow myself to feel God's presence all around me. The presence that brings the peace that everyone is looking for. The peace that can only be found in the arms of our lord. The peace that is beyond all understanding is just that. It cannot be understood, only experienced. It is the peace that carries you through stress, trauma, and your darkest hour. It is the peace that can only be found when one allows God into their hearts. This is why Jesus repeated over and over, "Peace be with you." Once you allow God into your heart, you will realize that he is in everything. In all that surrounds you, holding you, loving you. After all, he sent his son to die for you. Do you think that it was a coincidence that Jesus died between a murderer and a thief? It was God's way of telling us that there is nothing one can do that can't be forgiven if asked.

6:39 The orchestra of the forest is in full swing. Life burst forward. If you allow yourself to become immersed in it, you will also come alive with the living forest. Full of gods, creatures, and love.

Until next time with Breakfast with God.
